As a COMMSTRAT Officer, Josh’s accomplishments are nothing short of extraordinary. He served as:
Director of Communication for the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, leading strategic messaging in high-stakes crisis response scenarios.
Deputy Branch Head for the Occupational Field Support Branch at Headquarters Marine Corps, where he shaped policy and supported the broader communication mission.
Director of Communication for both the 38th and 39th Commandants of the Marine Corps, a testament to his unmatched expertise and trustworthiness in strategic communication.

He is also a published thought leader, with his co-authored article COMMSTRAT Maneuver in OIE featured in the Marine Corps Gazette.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Josh is a true renaissance man. A Minnesotan by birth, he now resides in Alexandria, VA, with his wife Liz and their son Robert. In his free time, Josh enjoys woodworking, painting, gardening, cooking, and writing—all pursuits that reflect his creativity and multifaceted talents.
